One line sums it up
Baby Health Expo is organised by First Events. The whole show fits in the line printed across the top of its banner, in French: “Parce que la santé de demain commence dès aujourd’hui”, because tomorrow’s health starts today. It calls itself the international show for health and for the well-being of mothers and children.
Its aim, as the organiser puts it, is to bring health professionals, specialist brands, experts, parents and parents-to-be together around one shared goal: the well-being of mothers and the healthy growth of every child. The show is held in Algiers, in the Ahaggar pavilion of the SAFEX exhibition centre.
Two zones, two audiences
Baby Health Expo speaks to caregivers and to families at once, and it hosts them in two separate areas. Zone A is for health professionals: expertise, innovation and meetings within the field, with congresses, training and talks that serve their practice and their patients. It is open to paediatricians, gynaecologists, general practitioners, midwives and pharmacists, to hospital and paramedical staff, to associations, learned societies and distributors, and to students and young professionals.
Zone B is designed for parents, parents-to-be and children, with advice, workshops and hands-on discoveries. Its themes follow every stage: pregnancy follow-up, a baby’s health and development, paediatrics and prevention, nutrition, hygiene and care, childcare equipment and support for parents. Between the two, the exhibition shows the products and services built for the health of mothers and children.
A scientific programme with the learned societies
In 2025 the scientific programme filled the first two days. On 24 September three brands each held a symposium: Aptamil Advance Junior on immunity and nutrition, Bimbies on protecting an infant’s skin, Blédina on preventing iron deficiency. A talk on osteopathy followed, presented as a complement to gynaecological and paediatric care.
On 25 September the morning belonged to SAMEN and to the newborn: resuscitating a full-term baby in the delivery room, first care at birth, neonatal jaundice. In the afternoon SAMERE gave two sessions to infertility, one on its link with obesity, the other on the environment. The show also lists the Algerian Red Crescent, the Association Algérienne des Puéricultrices, AACPL and SAGO among its partners.

Mom & Baby Experience, for families
Baby Health Expo sets out to be more than a show: a route along which families discover, try, learn and talk. That route has a name, Mom & Baby Experience. It brings practical workshops, product demonstrations by specialist brands, advice from professionals, activities for children and adults alike, and meetings with associations.
In 2025 its workshops ran across all three days. The first was for parents: potty training without stress, paediatric emergencies, emotional balance. The second covered feeding a baby, the postpartum period and a baby’s skin. The last was given to the first days with a newborn, then to newborn emergencies and unplanned births.

The 2025 edition in figures
The organiser has published the results of its 2025 edition. In Zone A, more than 1,500 qualified professionals: health professionals, experts, decision-makers and specialists. In Zone B, more than 3,000 visitors from the general public: parents, parents-to-be and families, who came for the workshops, the activities and the discoveries.
In all, 16 conferences and workshops, led by learned societies, experts and associations.
